Ramere 23 Pipiri

Friday 23 June

Hi,
Yesterday I was away with a tooth that had split in half and so the class had Mrs Shong come in, thanks.

Today was our last day of touch. thanks Sam.

Next Tuesday I will be out with the Ripper teams. Mr Jukes will be here in Room 11.

Thursday is a clash. The Year 6 girls netball and the cross country. The order of events will be Year 3,4,5,6 boys then girls. Girls who choses to run will be back to Onepoto in time to run the last event of the day, the Girls Cross country race.

If the cross country is off a message will be put on the school answer phone. Thanks to Olivia's mum, Adam's mumand pippa's mum who will walk Room 11 down to Onepoto. You are stars!

We did our Information Report on a famous person and have started conferencing with me.
They used my model on a famous NZ hockey player and a chart to help them sort and categories the facts. They are getting more skilled at skimming and scanning as well as categorizing into subtitles.

This afternoon we worked on our advertisement for our imaginary product.

Thanks to the people who bought in things to make slime next week. I'll buy some glue. If you have any hand cream/moisturizer you don't like the smell of or and food colouring, [please send that in as well.
