Tomorrow is Prizegiving at 6.30pm in the Hall. Dress in cool clothing as it is terribly hot there in the day and so in the evening it willl be an inferno.




Year 6 Leavers BBQ

Dear Parents of Year 6 Children,

It is a fun tradition at NPS that we have a BBQ get together for our leaving Year 6 children and their families.

When: Monday 11 December
Time: 5.30pm – 7.00pm
What to bring:  Your own picnic dinner and drinks, water pistols, water balloons…
Who can come: Year 6 children and family

We will provide a BBQ sausage for each person attending and there will be some soft drinks and water available.

Our Year 6 children will all receive a ‘Leaving’ certificate and a small gift at this celebration to acknowledge their time at Northcote Primary School.

Ramere 15 Hakihea Friday 15 December What a last fun week we have had. No doubt you will have heard about pool parties, "Go home, Stay Home" , Hampsterball, dodgeball and games such as "Wink murder," "Beat master,""Honey, if you love me then give me a kiss", and 2 truths and a lie". Raapa 17 Haratua Wednesday 17 May Sorry, there was no blog yesterday we had a very long and involved Professional development Team Meeting on "Learner Qualities" with Kate de Groot. Raapa 2 Here-turi-koka Wednesday 2 August Today yoyos appeared at school. They are a great thing to teach the NED concept. Never give up, encourage others to stick at it and be determined to do your best. Spike bought in a different way to achieve these concepts. He is egg sitting "Jimmy". Emma read out her "Mysterious egg" story. Thanks Benji for holding it so she could use voices to explain who each character was. It was rated as a great narrative! Well done Emma! Reading today was "making connections" between two different texts. We had Mrs McKenzie come and watch us learn. We were stunning of course!
